Anabel Toribio was born in Houston, Texas in 1979. She earned her BFA in studio art from Baylor University in 2003 and her MFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2007. She is currently teaching at both the high school and collegiate level. Anabel lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband and two shih tzus.
